According to its name, minimalist, then everything is all about minimalist, whether the shape, space, and materials that are used. Even so, in a practice, the cost of building the minimalist house development can be more expensive than ordinary house. That is happened because the minimalist house is demanding the level of accuracy or precision, as well as perfect finishing.
Ideally, the concept of minimalist house is purely aims to minimize the function of the house, as well as function of the room inside. Minimalist house is offering everything that can be gathered in one function. So the spaces in the house would offer one function only.
Pure minimalist house has the interior and exterior that is simple, plain, clean, and flat. Maybe for some people the minimalist house is looked cold and uncommunicative because there are not many accents and decorative elements, and has minimal ornamentation. This is the things that are tried to carry out by the concept of a minimalist house. Functional, simple, clean and without the ornamentation.
The building on the concept of minimalist always derived from the three things above. Cultural backgrounds and living habits of the society in general, made the pure minimalist style is experienced these changes into the new variant of minimalist. I’m still glad to call this new variant of minimalist as the term of Minimalist Evolution.
There is nothing wrong with it, when the pure minimalist style must adapt to our habits that tend to maximize the space with various activities. Or should adapt to the trend of combining a number of accents to beautify the house.
Finally the choice is yours, depends on your lifestyle and your daily habits. Because the architecture of the house is essentially a place and image of your personality and your life.
