Understanding the Function of Color in your House

The function of shaper (structural), the color can be useful to attract attention. Color can separate one part with another part of an object or space. For example, the coloring on columns and beams that separate the spaces.
The function of safety, describing the using of an object or space. For example the red color is used to mark the dangerous spots of an object or space at home. The doors are given with a lighter color, while the walls are given with a darker color which provides the clarity of purpose to show the orientation of the movement, while the walls are not.
The function of meaning. Colors also have the power to deliver the meanings of social cultural and psychological effects that are understood to have certain meanings. First, the impression that touches a person’s view such as there are hot colors like red and orange, or cold like blue and green, there are colors that impressed hard such as red, brown, there are colors that impressed strong or weak and so on.
Second, colors may also provide cultural meanings such as colors that impressed expensive, some are impressed cheap, there are colors that impressed antique and some are impressed modern. Dark colors that are impressed hard such as black, dark blue, dark brown tend to impressed men, masculine. While soft colors like pink, light green, cream (light chocolate-milk) tend to be feminine.
